Job Description

DescriptionKforce has a client in Boston, MA that is seeking an Information Security Engineer.Responsibilities:* Evaluate technology and security operations to identify system needs, risks, and improvement opportunities* Gather and translate business requirements into clear technical requirements for engineering and development teams* Serve as a liaison between business users, cybersecurity teams, and technical stakeholders* Identify, document, track, and support resolution of system and security-related issues* Support cybersecurity initiatives focused on insider risk, data protection, incident response, and security monitoring* Assist with the development and improvement of security controls, investigative processes, and monitoring capabilities* Analyze security events and operational data to identify potential risks or areas requiring investigation* Coordinate cross-functional security initiatives and maintain visibility into project status, issues, and deliverables* Support regulatory, governance, and compliance requirements related to security operations* Develop documentation, reporting, and recommendations that support informed security and technology decisionsRequirements* 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations, security analysis, incident response, insider risk, or a related discipline* Experience supporting insider threat, data loss prevention, security monitoring, or investigative programs* Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical specifications* Experience coordinating technical or cybersecurity projects across multiple stakeholder groups* Knowledge of security monitoring, endpoint protection, identity management, and privileged access concepts* Strong understanding of cybersecurity controls, risk management, governance, and regulatory compliance* Strong analytical, investigative, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities* Strong documentation and issue-tracking skills* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with business and technical teams* Ability to manage competing priorities and drive issues through resolutionJob TypeContractCompensation57 - $64
