The Phlebotomist is responsible for collecting venous and capillary blood specimens for laboratory analysis in a manner demonstrating skill and safe technique. The Phlebotomist shall also perform routine urinalysis, rapid kit resting, and therapeutic phlebotomy (optional). Additional tasks will include clerical duties, preventive maintenance, processing specimens and requisitions for assay or dispatch, and maintaining phlebotomy supplies.
Perform other duties as requested or assigned. May be expected to work varying hours, holidays, and weekends.
